Wellfleet Home Landscaping Ponderosa Landscaping & Stonework is thrilled to share the Wellfleet Home landscaping , a real showcase of quality and creativity. Set in idyllic Wellfleet, this involved an entire landscape design that fits perfectly into the coastal lifestyle of Cape Cod. We took on the challenges of a sloped site and sandy soil, working to ensure stability and sustainability in the design. Starting with a thorough site analysis allowed us to determine which native plantings naturally fit the site. The final design has a beautiful selection of perennials, ornamental grasses, and evergreen shrubs for all-year interest with little maintenance. An exciting feature of the was a large stone patio constructed from locally sourced bluestone. The stunning patio creates an inviting space for outdoor enjoyment, and integrates seamlessly with surrounding gardens. We also used natural stone to fabricate a custom-designed firepit, making a cozy spot for family and friends while aesthetically tying the patio and gardens together. To address drainage and erosion, we built a few terraces to create interest to the landscape and function as beds for plantings. Raised garden beds were constructed from reclaimed wood to further symbolize our desire for sustainability and rustic beauty. Ponderosa Landscaping and Stonework finished the on time and in budget, while adeptly managing access issues relating to deliveries and site access with professionalism and quality, resulting in an impressive landscape that not only fits the client’s vision and belief in quality, but enhances the natural beauty of their home.
