Setauket, New York In this we proudly transformed a backyard in Setauket, New York. A testament to our quality landscape creations at Long Island Landscape Designs Inc. This incorporated a total residential outdoor space redesign that combined the ideal mix of usability with beauty in nature. Included in this was a large stone patio using local bluestone; these slabs create a weather resistant but refined surface suitable for entertaining and entertaining. We planted a multitude of native plantings around the patio, such as gorgeous ornamental grasses and perennials for visual appeal and native biodiversity. Carefully positioned river stones form an instant naturalistic edge, not just leading the eye through the landscape, but also controlling the direction of water runoff. y# Property lines on the property, showing that the space was not flat. One of the problems faced during the was the slant on the property. Our talented team skillfully graded the land so that the drainage would be directed in appropriate areas preventing future erosion and ultimately improving the eye flow of this space. A custom-built fire pit, surrounded by comfortable seating, was also included so the homeowners can stay outside every other month as well. The end result was a perfect balance of hardscaping and softscaping that the client had envisioned and then some! The turned the backyard into a welcoming place where family and friends want to gather, and where the owners want to spend their evenings. We used only the highest-quality materials and craftsmanship to ensure this landscape will thrive for years to come and bring joy to the homeowners and their guests for decades to come.
