Dix Hills Back Yard Oasis Introducing the Dix Hills Back Yard Oasis a reflection of quality, creativity and commitment to our client from Long Island Landscape Designs Inc. This breathtaking Dix Hills s highlights a creative combination of natural & design elements with wonderful outdoor living. The began with an extensive consultation to understand what the client was after, which included a tranquil family retreat to gather and unwind. We took on the unique challenge of a sloping yard with a multi-tiered design that improved the view and expanded usable space. We utilized stunning stone retaining walls made from locally sourced bluestone to form a beautiful and natural border and to maintain the integrity of the soil over the gravel path. This beautiful custom-designed patio was paved with slip-resistant, high-end pavers for a safe and inviting outdoor dining and entertainment area. In the areas surrounding the patio, we used flowering perennials and ornamental grasses that bloom or look interesting every season of the year and require little maintenance. Lastly, we constructed a gorgeous water feature which has a waterfall that sounds beautiful, brings in local wildlife, and is an attractive feature that can be enjoyed. The evenings offered an alluring atmosphere with specific spots throughout the landscape dedicated to lighting in order to reflect its beauty and help functionality. The end product is simply a remarkable oasis that fits in with the lifestyle of the client and increases the value of their property.
