SYOSSET, NY - Long Island Landscape Designs Inc. Here is a very unique landscaping that we completed recently in Syosset, New York, by Long Island Landscape Designs Inc. It included a total renovation of the exterior, including a gorgeous combination of native plants, hardscapes, and functional features to maximize beauty and usability. It all began with an extensive site analysis to explore the site specific challenges of the site which included the slope of the hill and existing drainage issues. The team planned a tiered garden with retaining walls, constructed of a local stone a rustic adds to the landscape character. A semi-arid climate called for a careful selection of perennials and shrubs that would provide year-round color and texture and thrive without maintenance. This included the construction of a custom patio area using high-end pavers to provide a great outdoor entertainment area. Alongside this we added a fire feature fenced with natural boulders to offer a minimised outdoor experience with a warm fruity environment during the evening. The old irrigation system was poorly designed; it needed modernization to enable optimal distribution of the supplied water. Similar to the above modification our team re-engineering the irrigation plan and integrated the smart technology for efficient and sustainable watering system. Our clients were overjoyed with the end result, a beautiful sanctuary right in their backyard. The seamless integration of hardscape and softscape elements not only enhanced the visual appeal but also added greater valuation to the property.
