### Brookline Brownstone At a Blade of Grass, we help you get the most out of your outdoor space by turning them into beautiful landscapes that enrich the character of each individual property. The Brookline Brownstone, our most recent , showcases our dedication to quality and creativity, as well as our commitment to our clients. Located in an urban brownstone in the heart of Brookline, this called for maximizing a small outdoor space that was appealing to look at. To accomplish this, we created a multi-layered garden that combined natives, grasses, and perennials that offer a diverse, sustainable design while also providing color and interest throughout the year. Constructing beautiful stone walks and a custom wall comprised of locally sourced materials, we were able to achieve visual beauty and functionality at the same time. Not only is the retaining wall a beautiful feature, but it is also a functional element that adds a picturesque contrast to the greenery. A critical issue we had to tackle was drainage in a limited footprint; this was one of the bigger difficulties. We designed and built a custom French drain solution to properly manage water while the landscaping design suited well into the terrain. This not only solved the drainage problems, but made the garden healthier as a whole. The end result is an exquisite modern oasis within the city that impresses the client and complements the appeal of the brownstone. The Brookline Brownstone demonstrates our distinctive manner of applying functional design to the beauty of nature through appealing pathways, verdant plantings and practical seating areas. Not only is this a testament to our commitment to quality craftsmanship but also our ability to change the landscape of Greater Boston.
