Low Country Rustic The 'Low Country Rustic' landscaping presents the natural beauty and charm of the coastal South, executed by Carolina Landscape, Inc. Savannah, Georgia Situated in the center of Charleston, this breathtaking renovation was designed for a very particular client who wanted a blended, rustic aesthetic all throughout his outdoor space. For the implementation of this vision, our landscape architects have carefully selected native plants conforming perfectly to the local climate and thereby increasing the sustainability of the landscape. Soft grasses, wildflowers and natives shrubs are blended and laid out to create visual appeal along with biodiversity in this . Reclaimed wood makes excellent raised garden beds and pathways, giving the gardens character and a nod to the homage of Low Country history. One of the main challenges on the was the pervious terrain, which necessitated careful grading and drainage to prevent rainwater pooling during the heavy rains typical of the region. Blending ingenuity with artistry we designed an intelligent and organic flow of water that both supports and nurtures the surrounding landscape and plant system. The end result is an exterior haven that soothes the soul and entices you to get outside. Charming fire-pit areas with rustic seating create an inviting gathering spot while meandering stone paths that lead visitors through the abundant gardens. The clients loved it - they told us it was an aesthetically beautiful , with functionality, and we were able to seamlessly combine natural elements with their home.
