Summary: Bothell Backyard Renovation from Elite Horticulture Services In the picturesque heart of Bothell, Elite Horticulture Services executed a transformative backyard renovation that changed our client's view of outdoor living. This had some interesting challenges including site slope and drainage issues that we addressed to help create an attractive, usable oasis. Our design featured a multi-tiered landscape and natural stone retaining walls constructed of locally sourced basalt rock to be durable and complement the landscape. In addition, we installed an up-to-date drainage system to remove excess water from the property, helping to eliminate any concerns for flooding, while protecting the landscape. To accent the landscape design, we selected a varied group of native plants that included rhododendrons, ornamental grasses, and ferns that thrive in the climate of the Pacific Northwest. The use of permeable pavers for the pathways invites exploration, and the custom made seating around the fire pit will encourage family and friends to gather in the evenings. Designed with care for the environment in mind, we used eco-friendly mulch and selected native plants that are drought resistant to minimize maintenance and maximize enjoyment for years to come. The end result is a stunning backyard retreat for our client that encompasses beauty and usability and environmentally friendly materials.
