New Brewster Home by Ponderosa Landscaping & Stonework Located in the wonderfully quaint Brewster, Massachusetts, this beautiful landscaping by Ponderosa Landscaping & Stonework took a blank slate and developed it into a lush outdoor paradise. The clients described a vision of a place to connect with family while embracing the natural beauty of Cape Cod. Our team put together a deliberately curated overall landscaping plan of native plants, stonework, and outdoor living space to accomplish our client's vision. The key elements to the design included a beautiful bluestone patio with handcrafted stone walls that provide a place to give warmth and seating space and define the outdoor space. All of the stone was sourced from local suppliers, providing durability and beauty that blends seamlessly within the landscape. One of the notable challenges of the was the varied topography of the lot. The grade and contour of the property required the landscape to be graded for drainage to minimize water pooling and erosion, and we provided a custom drainage solution that maintains the landscape while supporting beauty. To continue embellishing the space, we included a variety of native plants, including hydrangeas, ornamental grasses, and perennials, that help add color and texture throughout the year. The strategic elevations of these plants adds interest and benefits the local wildlife, establishing a strong ecosystem. When the was completed, the New Brewster Home brought the clients immense joy. They can utilize and enjoy the robust outdoors while displaying their creativity and style.
