The scope of these landscaping works was extensive, developed specifically to strengthen the architectural merit of the home while complementing and blending with the greater environment. Highlights of the include an appropriate mix of California natives with drought tolerant landscape that emphasizes sustainability while maintaining visual interest. The design features a stunning array of textured stone paths, made from quarried stones locally sourced flagstones, that guide guests through gardens blooming in a riot of seasonal colors. Materials such as reclaimed wood for trellises and fencing reinforce the craftsman touch and complement the home. The topography on site was a key challenge within the .
