Alcala Lane, Montecito Located in the lovely community of Montecito, this comprehensive landscaping - 'Alcala Lane' by The Aldrich Company - Landscape Design is an example of skillfully blending nature with clean elegance. The transformed a typical garden into a beautiful outdoor destination and emphasized our creativity and quality. The planting consisted of several carefully selected native species that are sustainable and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. We utilized several drought- tolerant plants to enhance longevity and drastically reduce maintenance needs in an effort to adapt to the coastal environment. Quality materials were used throughout the , including locally harvested stones for the pathways leading around the property and custom cedar decking for a rustic effect. Relatively standard for these large properties, the existing site's slope presented a substantial challenge. Our team of landscape specialists engineered multiple tiered garden beds to address drainage issues and create an exciting and unique multi-level landscape. The addition of ornamental water features, such as a koi pond and waterfall-style fountain, acted as both tranquil focal points and playful interactions with our clients, requiring engagement, exchange and observation. The end result creates an extraordinary landscape that merges seamlessly with the natural surroundings, providing the clients a private retreat for outdoor living and relaxation. Our attention to detail and craft ultimately created a beautiful outdoor oasis at Alcala Lane, and now the clients enjoy a beautifully designed garden inspired by the charm of Montecito living.
