The standout feature of this was the beautiful tiered garden beds constructed from indigenous stone that not only worked with the natural topography but also provided visual interest. The plants were all drought tolerant, including California poppies and lavender, which allowed for a beautiful landscape while conserving and minimizing water use, a critical consideration in a coastal climate.
