Terrazzo Rustico The 'Terrazzo Rustico' , executed by Christian Duvernois Landscape/ Studio, is a beautiful example of both the artistry and craftsmanship that represent the essence of our brand. Situated on a stunning lot in Bridgehampton, this landscaping is a seamless blend of modern rustic and sophisticated; it adds a visual dimension to what was once a standard backyard. The unit has a well designed terrace that is made of salvaged Italian terrazo tile which resonates a classic use. Aside from their beauty, these tiles were chosen specifically for their durability that will take all the elements the space may experience while most importantly maintain their beauty. Along the terrace are carefully chosen native plants that echo the surrounding environment while bringing seasonal color and texture and enhancing local biodiversity. Responding to this prompt, we quotes one of the key challenges in the , which was how the sitecontext, with a mild slopet that could really make draining system difficult. With our drainage expertise, we engineered a solution that included shallow infiltration rain gardens and permeable pavers. Not only did this use of space solve the water management issue, but it also made the design able to be ecologically sustainable. And the result is a stunning outdoor space that creates an area to unwind and entertain, furnished with comfortable seating, soft light and greenery.
