City Lights by Christian Duvernois Landscape/Studio The are City Lights & it is the landscaping design located in the several districts in New York which was carried out by Christian Duvernois Landscape/Studio and it represents the principle of Duvernois Company that emphasizes design excellence & innovativeness. From Inwood to the Hamptons, we faced the interesting challenge of designing an urban oasis that cozily nestles into the pulsating heart of the city. The also had a well-thought-out plan that utilized local plants for sustainability and easy maintenance. We chose to use premium quality, long lasting materials (bluestone for the patio and hand-crafted cedar for the raised garden beds) that offers a sophisticated contrast to the urban setting. Given the restrictions and existing structures of the property our team had to deal with what we had on site, we managed this by implementing vertical gardening and carefully placing each plant where it could provide the greatest benefit without becoming a hindrance. At the center, a bold "water feature" that imitates the soothing sounds of nature, surrounded by other well-chosen flowering plants that bloom throughout the year, served as focal points. Soft landscape lighting seamlessly lit pathways, enhancing the magical quality of how wonderful the city can be at night. GARDENING S The end result was a beautiful garden escape, that surpassed all expectations of the client and added value to the overall image of the property. The professional completion of City Lights reflects Christian Duvernois Landscape/Studio’s commitment to artistry and construction, while being ecologically sensitive, providing a respite for the senses from the busy urban environment and a place for community gathering.
