this Country Getaway by Lawncare by Walter, Inc. The "Country Getaway" by Lawncare by Walter, Inc. has turned a typical suburban landscape into a restful country oasis, just minutes from downtown Rockford. As our team serve the local areas of Belvidere, Cherry Valley and beyond, they were able to maximize this indoor outdoor space with a design that complements the natural landscape of the great Dakotas region. We started with deep consultation to gain understanding of the clients vision. Our talented team designed a riparian buffer planted with beautiful native species to not only improve the look of the site but also enhance local biodiversity. We chose long-lasting materials, like natural stone paths, and used reclaimed wood for borders between garden sections for sustainability purposes. We dealt with many challenges, one of which was the slope of the land. Strategic grading and drainage solutions allowed us to avoid water pooling during large rain events. Our experts then carefully cut levels to create tiered flower beds that not only provide a sense of depth and layers but also control and shortcut the water runoff. The flagstone patio, in the "Country Getaway" segment made out of locally quarried stone for al fresco entertaining. We planted a combination of flowering perennials and ornamental grasses around the patio so that there would always be some color either in flower or in foliage through the seasons. The boulder fire pit custom built creates an ambience gathering spot and lights will add to the beauty of the landscape in night. The end product mixes function with calm, beyond the clients expectations, a perfect getaway from everyday life. Country Getaway is prime example of Lawncare by Walter, Inc. craftsmanship and attention to detail, a true statement piece in the greater Rockford area.
