Other Landscape/hardscape by Lawncare by Walter, Inc. We transform ordinary outdoor spaces into amazing land-scapes that reflect our clients and improve their homes and lives. That , appropriately titled "Other Landscape/Hardscape s," highlights exactly what we do great outside the specialty of building these unique outdoor spaces all throughout the communities of Belvidere, Cherry Valley, etc. This was a complete backyard redesign of a neglected residential yard. The client wanted a look that was elegant but also space that worked for entertaining family and having people to dinner held at the home and outdoors. We started with a comprehensive site analysis and responded to a number of site challenges such as uneven terrain and lack of drainage. We used an array of high-quality materials, including natural stone for a gorgeous patio which provided for a long-lasting surface for outdoor activities and brought harmony with the exterior landscape. We also incorporated permeable pavers to provide drainage for water to pass through which manages site water runoff and improves the ecological functionality of the site. For visual appeal with low maintenance requirements, we included native plant species known to do well in the area for seasonal color and habitat for wildlife (bell, chimney, and east sandbluff). To make it more appealing to sit around outside with family and friends, a beautiful fire pit was placed right in the middle with some seating. We had our challenges including limited access for our heavy equipment and a need for exact grading for drainage exterior.) With careful planning and expertise, the work we produced was above what the client originally hoped for. The completed was a beautiful outdoor space that seamlessly integrated hardscape and softscape, providing a wonderful place to enjoy garden and nature while relaxing and entertaining. Needless to say, our client was equally thrilled with the results, remarking how they loved the look and function of their new outdoor space.
