Pacific St, Brooklyn - Dragonetti Brothers Landscapes Situated in the bustling area of Brooklyn, the Pacific St showcases the standards of quality and innovation that are synonymous with Dragonetti Brothers Landscapes. The involved taking a modest urban backyard and creating a beautiful, functional outdoor space for family entertainment and relaxation. The design included a unique combination of native plants that would grow well in the rapidly changing climate and add to the aesthetics of the overall design. Environmentally sustainable materials including locally quarried stone pavers for the patio and walkways provide durability and a natural transition from indoor to outdoor. A custom designed wooden pergola constructed of sustainably sourced cedar provides a central focal point for both shade and aesthetic appeal, adding to the space's functionality. One key challenge encountered was the existing grading and drainage of the site. Our team completed grading and drainage designs to properly manage water and reduce erosion on the site. Landscape construction techniques and French Drain systems were fabricated for the purposes of relocating excess water away from the site. The end result is a beautifully landscaped space that meets the needs of our client and exceeds expectations. The combination of vibrant greenery with inviting hardscape will surely provide a serene space that communicates a feeling of calm, even in the busiest Brooklyn neighborhood. Our client was enchanted by their new outdoor space and the experience transformed not only their property’s curb appeal but their personal experience of owning an apartment amidst a busy city.
