The 'Planting Design' represents our commitment to quality and creativity on behalf of homeowners in Belmont, Emerald Lake Hills, and surrounding communities. The began with a thorough analysis of the site to understand the specific conditions of the property, including soil quality, sunlight exposure, and water drainage. The challenge was to create a planting scheme that coordinates and thrives in the microclimates while reflecting the architectural features of the home. A diverse and colorful planting palette of native, drought-tolerant plants was selected to promote beauty and biodiversity. The design mixed ornamental grasses, colorful flowering perennials, and architectural perennials to layer color and texture throughout the seasons. Natural permeable hardscape material was selected for pathways to allow for water absorption and reduce water runoff. Throughout the , our knowledgeable team encountered unanticipated issues including rocky soil conditions and exposures to altered light patterns. Through our experience in landscape architecture, adjustments were made to the initial planting plan to ensure the plants were in the best location for growth and impact. The end result was a beautiful garden that related to its surroundings, featuring colorful blooms and green foliage to spark excitement for our client. The landscape adds appeal to the property and serves as an outdoor retreat for time spent with family or moments of solitude.
