About This Project

Wheel & Barrow Landscape's Maintained Gardens Last month, we at Wheel & Barrow Landscape Design & Maintenance were very excited our 'Maintained Gardens by Wheel and Barrow'. Our clients brought us an older garden in Sheboygan County (Elkhart Lake, Sheboygan, Plymouth, and Sheboygan Falls areas) that they wanted us to help regain its vibrancy and intended beauty. When we are involved in client s, we bring our very best and provide high-quality service and innovation in landscaping. The involved a range of plant beds with perennial plants, ornamental grasses, and bloom seasonally with new plants for each season for year-round interest! We chose a variety of native plants to Wisconsin which we felt were quality plants, as well as ensuring to work in concert with the elements of the environment. Our team sourced natural routing of walking paths using Wisconsin limestone that add visual appeal, function for a continued user experience, and will continue to blend over time into the garden. One of the challenges was the elevation of the property and space. Our landscape designers and artisans tackled the slopes and led to tiered gardening bed experimentation. Tiered gardening beds improved the visual elements and provided water drainage and sustainable soil health. The slope encouraged us to take the space to a new level, and think logistics to have every garden bed live well in the elements together. The end result of all this work was a beautiful garden that flowed from the natural landscape to a sitting area that the client would enjoy. The garden area was now an area that the client could escape to, and utilize as a gathering point for family and friends. At Wheel & Barrow Landscape Design & Maintenance, we are dedicated to quality landscaping that exceeds our clients responses.
