Orinda 6 We are excited to announce another landscape transformation Orinda 6 brought to you by Garden Nest Residential Landscape. The property was a sizeable residence needing a lot of visual and functional outdoor living juice. This includes many of the great features including a custom patio built using natural flagstone, durable and long-lasting and designed to fit right into the scenery. An elegant water feature was added which includes a waterfall that compliments the sound of the outdoors and a habitat for local wildlife, aiding the ecosystem. Sloping land presented the biggest challenge for our design team if you do not have the right solution for digging, building ends up being sloppy and unstable, and water will flow freely down the slope, eroding it over time. Using a mix of native plants and select low-maintenance perennials, we carefully graded areas of the yard to retain existing trees and to create a rich, green, three-season landscape. At the heart of this is an inviting outdoor kitchen area equipped with stainless steel appliances and a custom grill station surrounded by natural stonework. This is a space with room for entertaining, as well as family gathering the true hub of the home. With careful planning and an eye for detail, we were aligned in every element, creating a warm, usable landscape that is greater than the sum of its parts, much to the delight of our customer. The result of 'Orinda 6': A beautiful outdoor space that responds fully to the client's vision and compliments their lifestyle, while also firmly cementing Garden Nest Residential Landscape's position as the go-to in quality landscaping from the Bay Area to beyond.
