The landscape serves neighborhoods from Alhambra to Malibu and balances native plantings, sustainable materials, and contemporary design qualities that exhibit aesthetics and functional living. The design consists of varied and vibrant drought resistant plantings, carefully selected to thrive in a Southern California Climate. The plant varieties, including California poppies, succulents and ornamental grasses, not only add visual appeal but also increase biodiversity and a balanced ecology. Locally sourced stone pathways and reclaimed hardwood decking interact with the natural surroundings, providing transitional spaces that lend themselves to relaxation and gathering. Uneven topography posed one of the challenges of the and required creative grading possibilities for proper drainage and accessibility. The Ketti Kupper team creatively embraced the challenge by transforming what could have been a disadvantage into a unique feature of designsuch as terraced gardens which add habitat and functional areas of beauty and enjoyment. The landscape is breathtaking. We want both the client and community to enjoy it. The included seating areas, colorful flower beds, and sophisticated water feature allow for mindful reflection and a sense of calm and serenity. The design gallery is not a landscape, it is a conscious connection to nature that enriches the quality of anybody that may ever use it, while protecting the environment. Ketti Kupper Conscious Life Design knocked it out of the park again! The was all the client’s vision and Ketti Kupper surpassed their expectations with thoughtful artistic ways to bring it to life.
