Enchanted Habitat Garden Ketti Kupper Conscious Life Design is delighted to unveil the 'Enchanted Habitat Garden,' a unique landscaping that exemplifies the principles of naturalistic design. Set in Los Angeles, this will serve as a welcome refuge for clients looking for a mystical respite from busy urban life. The garden is a mix of native plantings & flowers, intermixed with an array of hardscape materials, providing habitat for local wildlife. Utilizing sustainable practices, Ketti Kupper's team sourced permeable pavers and reclaimed wood to enhance the sustainability-first aspect of the garden. The serpentine pathways, surrounded by lush foliage, guide guests through distinct themes including a meditative retreat surrounded by bamboo, alongside an active butterfly garden filled with nectar-based ornamentals. The site's elevation presented one of the most challenging design hurdles, and utilizing natural stone walls, the team built terracing levels with both a structural solution and visually appealing layers of exploration. Ketti's team further enhanced the final experience by integrating a custom water feature that creates a series of hydrophonic soundscapes to attract local birds while establishing a diverse edge habitat. Ultimately the outcome of the exceeded the client's expectations with their formerly ordinary back yard now transformed into an immersive and mystical habitat to delight and stimulate a sensory experience. The finished product acknowledges the design principles of the , the craftsmanship to output a quality landscape, and the support of sustainability first methodologies.
