Summary: Parisian Garden by Matthew Murrey Design Located in Dallas, the 'Parisian Garden' demonstrates the beauty and sophistication of classic French garden design by Matthew Murrey Design. The consisted of an entrancing transformation of a large suburban yard to a relaxing retreat in the spirit of Versailles, blending beauty and function into one cohesively designed family space. We began the with a site analysis to understand the different grading challenges the presented. Our team was able to assess with ease the issues of drainage we ran into and existences of different "zones" of soil using their knowledge and expertise in establishing stability to allow for green material of various types to flourish. The contractor we procured used excellent stone materials for products such as the natural stone pathways and reclaimed bricks for the edging around the garden beds; all keeping in scale with that rustic, natural, and refined look reflected in a Parisian garden. The overall focal point of the outstanding landscape design is the centerpiece formal parterre garden that was fabulously cultivated into accented geometry. Beautiful boxwood hedges produced rich enclosure to the brilliant seasonal flower beds embodying texture and color. Likewise, a careful attention to detail incorporated gorgeous wrought iron trellises with climbing roses and jasmine as intended romantic elements of their garden in an elevated floral proximity. Water elements were a significant part of the design, implementing a stationary koi pond centered around natural granite boulders in a relaxing basin symphony of bubbling water. And, we designed custom lighting features into the gardens, showcasing architecture design elements at night and providing a captivating allure as guests circled the garden. The finished space exceeded the expectations of the clients and family, completing the absolute recreation of their outdoor space into an elegant relief. The garden provides deductions not only of beauty to the home, but also a complete enhancement of experiences of joy and comfort to the families and guests that encounter this extremely well designed space.
