The Landscaping at the PICARD Residence situated in the beautiful community of El Dorado Hills is a true reflection of what Verde Creations, Inc. strives for in every landscape we design. This large outdoor overhaul is a beautiful combination of tasteful aesthetics and practical functionality, specifically for the unique homeowner's preferences. At the beginning of every landscape installation, our team is always faced with challenges from new site conditions, like the slope of a property or the types of soil conditions present. The PICARD Residence was no exception. After ensuring our plans addressed potential site due diligence, we designed and constructed a series of terraced garden beds that enhanced the beauty of the terrain, while carefully considering drainage and soil retention issues. We worked in local stone for the retaining walls, bringing natural finishes and beauty that fit well in the landscape. The design includes a large patio area, laid with lovely travertine pavers that create a lovely area for the homeowner to host friends and family. We placed lush greenery, including a combination of native plants and drought-resistant plants, in well-placed areas that combined for a flush green palette, seasonally and sustainably. A gorgeous water feature, filled with natural plantings and a bubbling water fall flows, creates an eco-beneficial element, allowing for peacefulness into the front and rear yard, while bringing life into the space. The site was defined with thoughtful lighting, highlighting the many great features of the landscape which allowed the homeowner to use the outdoor oasis in all hours of the day and evening hours. During the design process, we worked closely with the PICARD family to ensure their outdoor oasis landscape took shape as they envision, organically producing a well-composed balance of form and function. The end result is a landscape that is beautiful and takes full advantage of seasonal color, while improving curb appeal and increases piece for the homeowners. The PICARD Residence is a great example of Verde Creations, Inc.'s commitment to delivering an individualized process while executed with a high level of creativity and craftsmanship.
