West Los Angeles Front Entry At Green Landscape Designs, we are extremely proud of our ability to transform outdoor living spaces into beautiful and usable landscapes. The 'West Los Angeles Front Entry' demonstrates our commitment to craftsmanship and unique design. Located in a bustling residential neighborhood, this involved the complete renovation of the front entry to a modern home. We started by creating an appealing entrance that fit within the existing architectural style of the home and enhanced the curb appeal. Our first consideration was to use a selection of drought-resistant plants native to California that would flourish in the local climate and require minimal upkeep. The final design incorporated a unique selection of succulents, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs that provided color and texture throughout the year. We chose high-quality materials, including natural stone pavers for the walks and a rich, dark wood for custom-built planters, that had a visual impact as well as durability against the elements. We also included low-voltage, energy-efficient landscape lighting to illuminate the robust plant palette and provide an inviting entry by night. The had its challenges with limited ingress and egress space and existing hardscape that required careful planning and execution. Our team was able to navigate these challenges and effectively regrade the entrance area for drainage to prevent water pooling to preserve the plant establishment. The end result was a stunning front entrance that captured the West Los Angeles living experience. The client was delighted and now has a front entry that is a beautiful landscape that contributes to their sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle.
