About This Project

Skilled Nursing Facility Warsaw County Community Hospital Come Take A Look At One Of Our Very Own Landscaping Featured at the Warsaw County Community Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility. This was part of a lively community, and we felt this was a perfect opportunity to improve the experience of healing for residents and the larger community of visitors. The team also composed tranquil outdoor spaces with a combination of native plants, ornamental grasses, and perennials to encourage peace and wellness. Permeable pavers, designed as winding pathways to allow for maneuverability but designed outside the house so water would drain properly. Therapeutic gardening activities: These were encouraged through the installation of raised garden beds, which can enhance the engagement of residents with nature. The area of the site was quite uneven which was one of the real challenges that we faced during the . After designing a detailed grading plan, our experienced team completed the grading to provide accessibility and look appealing and to resolve any surface water drainage problems. Custom retaining walls where we used natural stones that match perfectly with the landscape behind & provide the needed vertical support. A meditation garden, seating areas and flower beds, which bloom throughout the seasons, all contribute to the finished product of a nicely landscaped area. The includes renovations that are utilized to make the facility more attractive and is also a kind of restorative corner for residents and their families. The end-user was very happy with the outcome, grateful for the design approach that provides a means of connection, healing, and also evokes a sense of community.
