Designed for a new modern residential home, this creates a contrast between modern elements and some of the site's inherent natural beauty.Providing Landscape Solutions to Clients in Bethesda, Chevy Chase, DC, North Bethesda, North Kensington, Rockville, Silver Spring, Takoma Park, White Oak, Potomac, Wheaton. To define this space we began with an in depth analysis of the property’s architecture and existing landscape to create an intentional design that supplements the modern lines of the home. Using the right colour scheme of hardy drought resistant plants we combined a selection of evergreen shrubs with seasonal perennials for year-round interest. The natural materials like river stones and decorative gravel complemented the colourful foliage perfectly. Slope was a major challenge with this property and drainage needed to be managed efficiently and artistically. Our talented team developed a multilayer planting plan to remediate the drainage problems and provide relief through ecological plantings. This architectural component creates an idyllic setting for the house, showcasing its modern design whilst serving as a relaxing retreat for the family. Needless to say the results were beyond the expectations of the client, now the foundation planting is a beautiful focal point that adds to the character of the home. Well-chosen plants and nice make the improve the curb appeal and also a welcome atmosphere. From the careful designs to executed craftsmanship and plant selections, the client could not have been more thrilled with their new outdoor oasis.
