Willsville Estate At SURROUNDS Landscape Architecture + Construction, we are passionate creating spaces that encourage our clients to spend more leisure time outdoors. We are proud of our most recent , Willsville Estate. Located in the beautiful Virginia countryside, the required creativity, technical skill, and local knowledge. The design contains a sophisticated selection of native plantings chosen to blend beautifully and seamlessly into the estate's natural landscape. The natural landscape is enhanced by durable hardscaping elements, including elegant stone paths and a stunning patio created with locally sourced bluestone. Durable hardscaping materials help add aesthetic and longevity, while reducing maintenance needs. One of our challenges was the uneven topography of the estate; however, our team engineered gorgeous tiered gardens and retaining walls, providing for optimal drainage and soil stability while producing visually stunning, makeshift levels. To ensure every plant receives the intended care, we installed a custom irrigation system that bolsters sustainability and water usage. The water feature embodies the essence of the estate. The calm water attracts native wildlife and serves as a soothing gathering point, surrounded by ornamental grasses and flowering perennials that beckon to relax and unwind. Ultimately, the exceeded our client's vision and advanced the standard of luxury landscaping in Aldie and neighboring communities. With meticulous attention to detail, a dedication to quality, and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor environments, SURROUNDS Landscape Architecture + Construction has turned Willsville Estate into a beautiful outdoor living space that strikes the perfect balance of form and function.
