A Contemporary Backyard Retreat" In August the beautiful backyard retreat you see was done by Lawncare by Walter, Inc. and is an example of the type of well-done landscaping and design that we strive for. We completely transformed an ordinary back yard into a relaxing and inviting contemporary sanctuary, where you find a zen-like paradise to entertain your families and friends servicing areas such as Belvidere, Cherry Valley, Davis Junction, Kirkland, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Monroe Center, New Milford, Poplar Grove, Rockford, Roscoe, Rockton, Byron, Oregon and Stillman Valley. This included a beautifully laid out estate featuring a large high-grade slip-resistant paver patio, ideal for gatherings, giving this amazing home a useable surface with style. We chose a mixture of natives and bright perennials that bloom all summer to make the garden attractive as well as functional. This expertly managed crew even tackled the problem of leveling a sloped lot, building tiered planting beds that both brought in depth and enhanced drainage to prevent water from pooling when rains are heavy. This retreat was also accompanied by a custom-built natural stone sitting area surrounding a gas fire pit where leisurely evenings under the stars awaited this family. Finally, we added subtle, ambient lighting to accent the landscape features, providing a usable and welcoming outdoor space after dark. The end product surpassed the customers expectations affording them a modern patio that balances both contemporary lifestyle demands whilst bringing the pleasures of nature right into their backyard.
