Ballard Backyard Makeover by Urban Oasis Design & Construction LLC Urban Oasis Design & Construction LLC was excited to present the Ballard Backyard Makeover, an impressive landscaping that completely transformed what was initially an unusable outdoor area into a beautiful oasis. Working with clients in Ballard, Bellevue, Bothell, and beyond, this challenged our team to provide an impressive, functional, and beautiful backyard environment. In the early phases of the , our team carefully assessed the client's needs while evaluating the current landscape features. The terrain was imperfect as it consisted of uneven surfaces and inconsistent sun/shade exposures, however, we addressed these issues with incorporated tiered planting beds and creatively placed hardscaping. The design elements provided a beautiful, and, at times, dramatic mixture of native plantings, drought-tolerant shrubs, and perennial color to allow for a beautiful, resilient, sustainable that would benefit from each season. The team utilized the finest quality of products and services, including locally sourced stone for the patio and walkways to provide durability and elegance. A custom built pergola was added as shade to the outdoor dining retreat. Landscape lighting was added into the soft landscape to illuminate the enjoyable evenings. Ultimately, the finished was a lovely retreat that excited the client. The usable seating areas, floral planting palette, and balanced layout were emblematic of Urban Oasis Design & Construction's craftsmanship and commitment. The provided lasting value to the property, changed the client's lifestyle, and produced positive relaxation and rejuvenation benefits by the beautiful outdoor space within their own home.
