About This Project

Los Angeles Contemporary Spanish Revival Park Slope Design is thrilled to introduce the 'Los Angeles Contemporary Spanish Revival' , an exquisite tribute to the legacy of Spanish architecture, perfectly intertwined with contemporary landscaping practices. Park Slope serves the diverse areas of Santa Fe, Tesuque, Taos, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Albuquerque, and Culver City and undertook this exciting to transform a typical yard into a beautiful outdoor paradise. The main objective of the was to create layered gardens rich in vegetation reminiscent of the classic Spanish terraced gardens. We used a variety of native plants, including vibrant colors of bougainvillea, aromatic lavender, and hardy succulents that incorporate with the surroundings to create a sustainable environment. The textured materials we chose incorporated elements such as handcrafted clay tiles and natural stone pathways to add visual appeal and warmth. One of the larger challenges we encountered was the steep slope nature of the property, which required imaginative thinking water drainage and erosion. Our construction team designed a series of attractive retaining walls built from locally gathered stone, which allowed for multi-level planting beds that addressed both functional drainage needs and depth and beauty in the overall landscape. The final landscape was stunning! The outdoor living space included the built-in pergola of beams, with climbing vines, and a peaceful water feature enhancing the tranquility of the space. The intimate seating space was perfect for leisure or entertaining. The client was thrilled with the results and now has a beautiful getaway for family gatherings and back-drops for their home. In the 'Los Angeles Contemporary Spanish Revival' , Park Slope Design provided quality construction methods and modern landscape solutions to provide a non-temporal outdoor space by representing tinges of culture and contemporary landscaping practices.
