About This Project

Our Mar Vista Green Landscape Designs is excited to showcase the Mar Vista , a fabulous transformation of outdoor living in one of Los Angeles' great neighborhoods. The site is located between the active communities of Venice and Santa Monica and represents our commitment to quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction. The landscape incorporates a fusion of native California plants and modern outdoor amenities. The company selected moisture-friendly plants such as succulents and colorful flowering shrubs to create an aquatic paradise that is in tune with Southern California's dryness while also reducing water use. Locally sourced stone for paths and raw materials for walls were also selected to create beauty and make an effort to source sustainable materials. One of the significant challenges was the slope of the site. Our designers were able to work with landscapers to create tiered garden beds, which was efficient for drainage and aesthetically pleasing also. A custom irrigation system where we made sure to use water efficiently is a part of our work that aligns with being environmentally sustainable. The final product is an incredible outdoor living space featuring a large patio with hardscaping and a fire pit to sit around and entertain. The water feature gives off a relaxing touch, making this a real retreat. The final product exceeded our client's expectations with all the elements of their vision manifesting into a really livable reality that blended beauty and functionality. Green Landscape Designs take great pride in their work, and the Mar Vista is a great testament to our abilities to create landscapes that inspire and persuade.
