Back Garden - Greensleeves Garden Design In Sunnyvale, California, Greensleeves Garden Design took on the 'Back Garden' which shifted a neglected outdoor space into a lovely retreat that struck a beautiful balance of form and function. As a proud member of the active Bay Area community including Los Altos, Palo Alto, and Saratoga, we are dedicated to providing exceptional landscaping solutions for our clients unique needs. The began with the site analysis, which allowed us to find all the best opportunities to enhance the site, while highlighting the challenges of unevenness and drainage. Our skilled team was able to carefully develop a multi-level landscape incorporating native and drought tolerant plants suitable for the climate. Our team also used some of the best materials available including natural stone for pathways and retaining walls which function extremely well as materials while beautifully blending into the environment. The water feature is the most impactful aspect of the Back Garden and is carefully added to create truly unique vibe. This koi pond is surrounded by vegetation and flowers creating focal point and a sense of both wildlife and admiration. The custom built fire pit area provided an additional element of gatherings, while bringing outdoor life. Throughout the we became engaged in the variable soil conditions and continual sustainable irrigation solutions. Our enduring quality endured through these obstacles creating a stunning, yet functioning landscape. The final outcome excited our client as he now has the opportunity for recreation with his family in a beautiful garden. The interplay of colors, textures, and lights combines to create an intimate space to share with family and friends.
