About This Project

Larchmont Backyard by Winston Fayer Landscape Design Winston Fayer Landscape Design is excited to showcase the transformation of the Larchmont Backyard, a representative of our quality and creativity. Located in Larchmont, the large outdoor area was redesigned to encapsulate the homeowner's vision of a private sanctuary to enjoy and connect with nature. The newly designed space includes an outdoor kitchen with a cusotm grill and granite countertop, transitioning into a multi-level premium bluestone patio providing an attractive and durable area for the homeowner's family and friends to gather. An additional seating area surrounds a fire pit, creating an intimate setting for evening enjoyment. The steep topography of the backyard was one of the main challenges, and our team creatively engineered a tiered garden, utilizing an aesthetic and functional natural stone retaining wall. The tiered garden was specifically designed to create opportunities for multiple planting areas, resulting in a lush landscape with native shrubs and perennials that bloom throughout the seasons, bringing butterflies and hummingbirds as visitors. We also installed an irrigation system to prolong the plantings and conserve water, highlighting our goal of sustainability. Overall, the landscaped area has turned into a beautiful, functional, and awe inspiring outdoor space. The homeowners now have a beautiful environment to enjoy their gatherings with colors and textures provided by the flora and water qualities from the fountain.
