New Rochelle Landscaping by Winston Fayer Landscape Design Located in New Rochelle, Winston Fayer Landscape Design transformed a standard outdoor model into an outdoor space that respects both formality and function, a lovely oasis. In early spring, we began the , a testament to our commitment to quality and thoughtfully designed landscaping solutions; The Christmas tree-shaped site plan features an attractive layout and was accentuated by a uniquely shaped patio made from natural bluestone which created a gathering point for family and friends. Planting was a mix of native plants selected specifically for hardiness and low maintenance, including perennials, flowering shrubs, and ornamental grasses, which offer both visual interest and biodiversity; One of the larger challenges was dealing with the uneven landscape and poor initial planting soil. Our team developed a grading plan and/or blended in organic compost to modify the soil and prepare the area for planting. As a result, each plant has room to grow and can properly drain water throughout the landscape; This landscape also installed an irrigation system designed to maintain plant health while conserving water. In addition, we installed LED landscape lighting which enlightens the paths, brightens gathering spaces, and enhances the appeal of the design at night. The process culminated in a beautiful overall layout for the landscape that met, and perhaps exceeded, the client's expectations. The outdoor space features a combination of each plant and space as part of a calming space to retreat outdoors and relax. The excitement from our client at the final unveiling was extensive. Our client was thrilled at the overall creative design and detail in every corner that promotes site exploration and conversation while remaining resourceful.
