Hilscher Design and Ecology, Arched Natural Stone Wall Located in the picturesque scenery of the Twin Cities metro area, Hilscher Design and Ecology's "Arched Natural Stone Wall" exemplifies our commitment to quality workmanship and innovative design. Serving the communities from Bayport to Woodbury, we took on this to create a functional yet aesthetically pleasing gradient that fits nicely within its surroundings. Using locally sourced natural stone, our skilled craftsmen designed and built an arched wall that creates an impactful visual element and anchors the site. The stones we selected exhibited diverse colors and textures that work aesthetically with the natural topography of the area. Additionally, all of the stone was hand-selected to ensure that every piece exhibited unique qualities during installation. A significant part of the challenge was working on a sloped site that required an engineering solution to ensure structural integrity while providing an organic look. Our talented team engineered the wall through selected stone placement and wall reinforcement and was successful in navigating the complexities of the site. The end result of this is a stunning arched wall forming an exquisite edge to their garden, offering both privacy and an eye-catching view during the seasonal blooms. The wall works well considering the essence of the property and ultimately provides both aesthetic beauty and functional value by supporting soil retention and managing erosion. The client was exceptionally pleased with the final outcome, noting the fine craftsmanship and how well it fits into their landscape.
