Diane is a landscape architect and ecologist with 32 years of design and construction management experience on residential, commercial and public projects. Her area of expertise is native plant communities in her landscape architectural design, with clearly defined projects in sustainable landscape architecture. At the University of WI - Madison, she was the first student to earn combined degrees in Landscape Architecture and Natural Resources with Darrel G. Morrison FASLA, an international leader in sustainable design as her mentor. Diane started her career in Minneapolis/St. Paul at the largest design-build LA firm where she worked for six years learning how to build and manage projects with the regions brightest designers, builders and remodelers. Educational leader Diane was a nine-year president of Wild Ones, Native Plants, Natural Landscapes. She conveys her expertise at the annual Design with Nature State Conference sponsored by Wild Ones, Blue Thumb: Planting for Clean Water and for the Hennepin County Master Gardeners. Diane has been profiled in numerous magazines, including Rollie Henkes' "Natural By Design" (Woodlands & Prairies Magazine) and Lauri Hopple's "Shining A Light On Sustainability" (Spaces Magazine).
