Kate Martin Design: My Favorite Trees Kate Martin Design takes pride in the experience of taking a typical yard and creating a personal outdoor paradise. Our most recent , "My Favorite Trees," located in suburban Metro Seattle, emphasizes that commitment to quality and creativity. This encompasses a carefully curated collection of native and ornamental trees designed to thrive, grow, and prosper in the Pacific Northwest climate. The curation featured impressive Western Red Cedars, delicate Japanese Maples, and engagingly colorful Dogwoods that created a unified collection of color and texture throughout the seasons. Each tree was methodically installed to provide beauty and usability while offering shading for privacy for the homeowners. Another challenge was the existing unlevel grade, and the design team rolled soil and amended the soil for healthy growing conditions. The organizational team ensured their team had excellent quality materials to work with, such as organic compost and mulch, when amending the soil and promoting long-term growth and maintenance of the trees. The teams also installed a drip irrigation system to eliminate stress from the trees while conserving water use and maintaining a lush green landscape, as envisioned by the homeowner. This landscape transformed the property, providing an oasis of tranquility and magnificence on their typical size property. The client could not have been happier with the process and the changes made to the property. She shared it was going to be a great family gathering space to take in the beauty of nature and tranquility outdoors. Kate Martin Design, once again, provided quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction in the with "My Favorite Trees."
