Colorful Walls in the Garden by Le Jardinet Le Jardinet recently finished a beautiful landscape entitled Colorful Walls in the Garden, to extend outdoor living space across the greater Seattle area (Ames Lake, Bellevue, Monroe, etc.). This modern took a typical landscape and cultivated it into a colorful garden, including colorful retaining walls, that showcased artistry and creativity in harmony with functionality. Using high-quality, weather-resistant materials, our team created walls of varying shades and colors to complement the verdant garden area and seasonal blooms. Walls that were built to create structure against soil erosion also designed to create unique backdrops for plantings based on color and height. The most important challenge for the team was the existing slope of the property. Our landscape crew seamlessly leveled the ground while creating a multi-tiered plan that addressed slope concerns and constructed inviting patio-style spaces for gathering. Correctly designed slopes avoid trapping or flooding of water and provide valuable plantings spaces. Utilizing native plant materials and flowering perennials, the garden was designed to thrive in the Pacific Northwest climate while requiring minimal maintenance. In the end, the finished garden was a beautiful, happy place for the client, where they could enjoy their own retreat with landscape functionality and beauty. Quality craftsmanship and high levels of customer satisfaction were at the forefront of the entire process. Quality is always paramount to Le Jardinet when designing and creating landscape space.
