About This Project

Newburyport South End KDTurner Design is excited to unveil the Newburyport South End landscaping - a remarkable transformation that is as practical as it is sophisticated. Centrally located in Newburyport, the Newburyport South End embodies KDTurner Design's landscape service to Newburyport and the surrounding areas, including Boxford, Ipswich, and more. The composition highlights a thoughtful mix of locally sourced native plantings and customized hardscaping that accentuates the site’s natural beauty while embracing sustainability. Our team actively collaborated with the client to select a curated mix of drought-tolerant plants including a variety of lively perennials and ornamental grasses that together compose a lively color palette that lasts year-round. Complementing the native plantings, we installed bluestone pathways to aid in serviceability, in addition to a granite fire-pit area to provide a warm and inviting gathering place for the family and friends. One of our most significant challenges with this site was the uneven terrain. We had to think creatively to establish drainage and grading solutions to alleviate potential water pooling while also sustaining the landscape. Our team of experienced professionals developed innovative strategies to establish a level ground surface while excavating the soil to establish a functional drainage system. With these solutions, we created a seamless transition from the home to the landscape garden. Ultimately, the result is a beautiful outdoor oasis for the client that adds to the curb appeal of the property in addition to establishing a serene place of refuge. Our commitment to quality materials, our attention to detail, and our sense of craft ultimately produced a beautiful landscape that delights the client and enhances their life.
