Mercer Island Landscape Remodel by West Edge Landworks LLC Located within the beautiful scenery of Mercer Island, West Edge Landworks LLC completed a complete landscape remodel that transformed outdoor living for our appreciative client. The initiated with a complete site assessment enabling our team to design a harmonious space that fit naturally with the surrounding and addressed specific site topography and drainage issues. We introduced an assortment of native plants to ensure sustainability and reduced maintenance levels while enhancing visual aesthetic. A beautiful display of flowering shrubs, ornamental grasses, and evergreen trees now provide year-round color and texture. We brought in a custom stone patio using locally sourced basalt to create an inviting atmosphere for entertaining and family gatherings. This natural stone mirrors the fullness of greenery and provides a natural focal point within the garden. As we tackled the site drainage issue, we created a rain garden that will both collect and filter storm water, contributing to a healthy ecology and incorporated a visually appealing edge to the landscape. And, adding permeable pavers to the driveway not only elevates curb appeal, but also provides the visual standard that we strive to create water management systems in our designs. There were distinct challenges of steep slopes and existing invasive species that our experienced team expertly negotiated with considerable site planning and attention to detail. The outcome is a beautiful landscape that provides form and function to the delight of our client and their outdoor experience.
