Old Field Goldberg & Rodler, Inc. is pleased to announce "Old Field," a complete landscape landscape that transformed the outdoor space of an adorable estate in Huntington Bay. This represents our commitment to providing quality work in all of the unique communities we work in, such as Asharoken, Bay Shore, and East Northport. Old Field started as an impressive, overgrown site with no real structure or visual interest. Our firm took on the task of revitalizing the landscape and introduced a harmonious melting pot of native plants, ornamental trees, and high-end hardscape features. The plant palette consisted of quality plants, and we specified high-quality materials such as bluestone quarried locally for the walkways and durable natural stone retaining walls. One of the hurdles we overcame at this site was managing the changes in elevations and drainage issues. Our landscape architects designed a tiered garden that addressed the drainage issues and provided a stunning feature. We specified a top-of-the-line irrigation system that allows for maintaining lush greenery while addressing water use. Ultimately, we were able to create a stunning outdoor retreat with winding walkways, flowering garden beds bursting with seasonal colors, and peaceful seating areas to slow down and catch a breath. We customized-built pergolas and trellises that were situated with climbing vines that provided vertical interest and shade. Our clients were thrilled with their renovated landscape. They love the way Old Field is a beautiful spot for family gatherings and getting together with friends.
