Casa Naranja by Garza Concepts Located in La Quinta, Casa Naranja, a landscaping by Garza Concepts, embodies the spirit of the desert in a stunning, sophisticated outdoor space. With its striking color combinations of native plantings and a modern aesthetic, the vision transformed the property into a beautiful oasis. Rich colors from drought-tolerant plantings such as bougainvillea and agave were design elements strategically placed to provide year-round color while protecting water. Garza Concepts faced a topographical challenge with a very uneven site and limited access, but overcame these issues through targeted grading and custom-built pathways. By utilizing high-quality natural stone pavers and decorative gravels, we created a smooth, interconnected flow throughout the site while providing wonderful spective transitions ending at a beautiful fire pit with custom seating. A fully computer-controlled irrigation system was designed for optimal delivery of water to the selected indigenous plants and in keeping with our water conserving goals. Lighting was carefully considered into the overall design, highlighting pathways and planting features while providing inviting accent lighting. The end result of Casa Naranja is simply stunning. Not only has Garza Concepts risen to the challenge of elevating the property’s aesthetic, but we met the client’s desire for a sustainable and integrated experience.
