Tyree Residence SP Gardens - Susanna Pagan Landscape Design is excited to present the Tyree Residence, a transformative landscaping located in San Diego County. Located in a beautiful coastal area that spans Cardiff By The Sea, Carlsbad, and Encinitas, the Tyree Residence exemplifies our dedication to quality and craftsmanship. At the Tyree Residence, we had the pleasure of transforming a space that incorporated a beautiful combination of nature and functional living spaces outdoor. The drought-tolerant garden was thoughtfully planned and included native plants that fit well in the coastal climate. High-quality materials such as locally sourced sandstone were used to build the pathways to ensure sturdiness and longevity, while also blending into the site. An important fact the residence that poses a challenge, was the site topography. Our landscape architects implemented terracing and tiered garden beds that not only provided visual interest in the landscape, but accessibility and drainage improvement as well. The tiered garden beds are a happy mix of flowering perennials and ornamental grasses for texture and color, not only in the summer, but all year! The backyard living space is the most impressive part of this , which includes a beautifully constructed pergola made of responsibly harvested wood. The outdoor space was composed for entertaining with an outdoor kitchen and fire pit so that the family may also enjoy their local climate throughout year. In the end, we created a beautiful landscape that exceeded the client's hopes; functional yet beautiful, while maintaining the feel of Southern California lifestyle. The Tyree Residence is now a family retreat center that invites family and friends to enjoy the outdoors together - proof of a job well done by SP Gardens - Susanna Pagan Landscape Design professional quality and artistry.
