South Hampton, NY #1 by Sunny Pond LLC Located in the beautiful community of South Hampton, NY, this landscaping by Sunny Pond LLC is a great example of how we love adding creativity and quality to outdoor spaces. The design was geared towards fitting within the natural beauty of the area and features a stunning hardscape and softscape design that all come together to make the property a peaceful getaway. The main feature of the is a custom built stone patio using locally sourced bluestone. The patio is both durable and beautiful for entertaining outdoors. Surrounding the patio is rich plantings of native perennials selected for their seasonal blooms and low maintenance. We incorporated several forms of ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs to make every season show beautiful color and texture to the property. One of the larger challenges of the site was the slope of the property, which we had to deal with while considering how to deal with drainage, yet still look great. Our talented team carefully built a series of terraced gardens to impede soil erosion and allow for a smooth transition from one level of the property to another. It was functional and allowed for more diverse planting to show off different textures and heights. To match the overall , we worked with the clients to install a new irrigation system that conservatively used water to achieve healthy growth for plantings when needed, and be conscientious of our environment. Lighting was strategically placed to illuminate pathways and features of the space to enhance the beauty at night hours of evening. The finished product was a stunning outdoor living space that made our clients impressed and proud to say they have a garden oasis in their yard. The attention to detail and quality workmanship was present in every piece of the and the homeowners were very happy with their new garden retreat.
