Northwest Austin Hillside D-CRAIN Design and Construction has recently finished the stunning known as 'Northwest Austin Hillside', which created a beautiful outdoor retreat from a steep and very challenging site. In the beautiful hills of Austin, this is an excellent example in D-CRAIN's commitment to quality handcraftsmanship and high capabilities for custom landscaping to respond to each client's needs. This started with a comprehensive site analysis, in which our design-build team evaluated the unique incline and drainage patterns of the hillside. We worked very diligently to meet challenges like erosion control and soil stability, leading to a where we had designed a tiered landscape for aesthetic purpose, but also as a means of ecological stability. The materiality supports our vision of using locally sourced crafted natural stone admitting the use of beautiful habitat and fusing native plant species. In addition, functional and beautiful natural stonecut walls provide clarity and propping in fine, lush native planting. Finally, we used drought tolerant plant materials, that are sustainably starting used for their year-round textural beauty with flowering and vegetative elements as wildlife tolerant and pollinator friendly. The centerpiece of this landscape , consists of an inviting flagstone pathway, ascending and descending varieties into the hillside intentionalized to lead to a beautiful sitting area, complete with custom reclaimed wood benches. By providing an area for purpose with hospitality for sitting, resting, or talking, and taking in nature, our clients, seen as their beautiful home in front of the hillside view mesmerizingly appears as if sewn or threaded together at a sly pendant in the hillside. D-CRAIN custom landscape support was observed, with the addition of a low-voltage lighting installation, purpose was met when observing the design, but as D-CRAIN s always do and each of our clients quickly realize, these two parties also play a role for awhile in lighting sustainability and ambiance in the night and pathway safety. Ultimately, the 'Northwest Austin Hillside' delighted our clients, who now get to enjoy through enjoyment of hosting family and friends a landscape that invites to work very hard with movement to change sometimes thoughts, but produce as time passes an outdoor decor venue which now allows them to have their own at-home outdoor experience.
