This began with a desire for a tranquil oasis around the pool. The layout we developed is aesthetically pleasing and functional, featuring attractive stone pathways, native plantings, and a well-done pergola for relaxing on warm, sunny days. The material selection consisted of durable pavers and stone from the area suited for the climate, to provide a long lasting product. One of the challenges we faced on this was improving the existing landscape on the site where water sat whenever it rained or for sometime after. We provided the same features and functions as the previous landscape by incorporating exceptional drainage with strategically placed grading and permeable pavers with the aesthetic purpose of landscaping. The afforded us an opportunity to upgrade the existing pool area in such a way where it would enhance the home, as well as provide an elegant gathering space for family and friends, or self. The colorful tropical planteris, thoughtful accent lighting, and relaxing sounds of the waterfall made a perfect space for an evening gathering or casual engagement with family, while making the owner proud of the transformation of her pool area, our attention to detail, and for executing her vision seamlessly.
