Solano 2 by LandStudio At LandStudio, we take great pride in the fact that we turn outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes that work well with the environment. Solano 2, in the heart of Coral Gables, truly showcases our commitment to quality and creative thinking in landscaping. This ambitious started with a vision to create a private sanctuary within a Mediterranean-style home while integrating the premise into its surroundings. This steeply sloped site provided an interesting challenge plan, plan, plan to control water runoff and have a stable base. Quality natural stone, as seen with the topography of the house, allows for a beautiful retention wall to control runoff as well as provide configuration to the soils and beauty to the aesthetic. Selecting native plants bougainvillea, palms, and ferns allowed for bio-diversity and sustainability while making sure things looked beautiful and resilient to our climate, flourishing with minimal maintenance. As part of the overall experience, we completed the landscape with a water element and flagstone pathway, inviting you to relax in a tranquil area to visit with a friend. The gentle flowing water feature provided a calming interaction with the landscape, while providing a hub for local wildlife. At the end of the , Solano 2 provided our client an experience that exceeded expectations, creating a vacation retreat space that is both luxurious and cozy. The planning and material selections had flow with the space's environment that creates harmony within the house's architecture and the overall outdoor experience.
