→ The Transitional Front Yard, Blount Designs We specialize in turning ordinary yards into beautiful landscape areas reflecting the vision for outdoor living that we create with every client here at Blount Designs. The latest we've had the honor of bringing to life is this 'Transitional Front Yard' nestled in the heart of Dallas. This is a that included a total front yard renovation into a space suitable for a modern day while still looking inviting and working with the architecture of the home. The cohesive design had a mix of greenery, hardscaping, and focal points. Native plant species were chosen with ease of care in mind while promoting biodiversity. We chose resilient materials like natural stone for walkways and decorative boulders to provide both beauty and function. Uneven ground and limited exposure in some locations made for difficult conditions during portions of the . So we sent in our capable crew to level the ground and install shade-loving plants so that vibrant growth was present in every part of the yard. The park consists of a beautiful stone path that leads to a small, warm seating area nestled among vibrant perennials and waving tufts of ornamental grasses. The client was thrilled with the final outcome and appreciated the attention to detail and a perfect integration of elements back into a designed and warm space. Benefits: This enhanced the curb appeal of the home, but also provided the family with a space where they could gather outdoors or just relax.
