### Birmingham Contemporary Birmingham Contemporary, completed by Michael J. Dul & Associates, Inc., illustrates an integration of contemporary design and natural beauty. Located in Birmingham, this beautiful landscape renovation is a combination of hardscape and softscape elements that have all been designed to meet the client's expectations and lifestyle. For this , we designed a series of outdoor rooms that all lead to a large, elegant patio made of high-quality bluestone pavers, which is a wonderful, hard, flat surface for both socializing and relaxing. The patio contains an elegant fire pit that leads to built-in seating that invites a warm and glorious experience outside under the stars. In addition, we selected different types of native plants as well as lots of ornamental grasses that provide a variety of seasonal interest, resilience, and color all year round, as well as interest for the wildlife in the area and to increase biodiversity. We also added LED lights to highlight parts of the landscape at night in a cool, beautiful landscape enhancing the outdoor experience long after the sun goes down. One of the major objectives of the was that there was an elevation change on the property. Our team designed retaining walls to make tiered garden beds out of natural stone, which stabilizes the change in elevation and adds three-dimensional depth to the landscape design. This helps to make the topographical problems disappear and adds some visual intrigue to the property. In the end, the resulted in a breathtaking landscape that exemplified practicality and beauty while providing the homeowners with an outdoor space that conveys their values, reflects their modern style, and embraces the natural landscape. The homeowners were extremely happy with what was created and said the design was so thought out with tremendous quality that it exceeded their expectations.
