Summary: Casa Olivo - Garza Concepts Casa Olivo, located in the Coachella Valley, is a prime example of the creative and technical prowess exhibited by Garza Concepts. This breathtaking landscape was designed for a client with very specific tastes and incorporates the perfect marriage of nature and contemporary design. The design features a sustainable living environment of over 5,000 square feet, full of drought-tolerant, native plants that are well suited for a desert landscape. Highlights include well-placed olive trees that provide shade, while simultaneously defining the outer space. The informal pathways and retaining walls are made out of stone local to the area, which provides rustic tranquility to the greenery. A custom water feature, with a soothing waterfall and koi pond, enriches the setting with an aura of relaxation. Garza Concepts navigated steep rocky slopes and drainage in an arid climate while managing to design successfully. Our experts devised thoughtful solutions that will result in both longevity and upkeep of the landscape. The result is an amazing outdoor area seamlessly combining the new outdoors with the existing interior living space. The homeowners were very pleased with the transformation, particularly the attention to detail and bringing a variety of natural elements into a compatible and engaging experience. Casa Olivo is a mulch and gravel landscape living environment that embodies the desert character while delivering the client’s intentions.
